15m x 1.5" Nylon and polyester battle rope for crossfit, boot camp training. Ropes have been used for military training as far back as the ancienty greeks, mainly for body weight training/ climbing, traversing, etc. More recently ropes have been integrated in to ground based training, focused on core strength and upper body conditioning. Battle ropes offer a fantastic alternative to cardio training, while strengthening the core, back shoulders and even arms! An entire upper body workout can be done with these ropes, and the core strength gains are an added bonus.

When we set about creating a battle rope, we chose 1.5" non fraying nylon mixed with polyester synthetic fibres. This provides superior wear resistance, flexibility and strength. We then added heat shrunk rubber (not plastic) end caps. These heat shrunk end caps are moulded right in to the ropes contours, for a superior grip. The end result is a rope that is suitable for outdoor use, and will keep looking good for years to come. Net weight is 12kg.
